5. Recommendations

5.1. Cleaning agents

Best cleaning results are achieved with TICKOPUR, TICKOMED and STAMMOPUR.

Replace used liquids and disinfectants, do not "freshen them up" with an added dose.

Layers of dirt on the tank bottom or in the insets (abrasives and polishing agents, for
example, as well as other deposits) reduce the cleaning efficiency. Empty the
oscillating tank and clean it regularly. Replace the cleaning liquid.

The cleaning and contact liquids in the ultrasonic oscillating tank may not exceed a
maximum operating temperature of 100 °C.

Distilled or deionized water without additives is unsuitable for ultrasonic cleaning
directly in the oscillating tank. They lack the necessary cavitation properties to form a
uniform ultrasonic field. Irregular cavitation can damage the oscillating tank or the
objects being cleaned. (You may use distilled or deionized water in the inset beakers
and non-perforated insert tubs.)

Use only TICKOPUR, STAMMOPUR (see above) in the oscillating tank. These agents
are especially developed and recommended for ultrasonic cleaning.

Be careful when working with aggressive cleaning agents in insets or non-perforated
insert tanks; avoid splashing into the contact liquid or onto stainless steel surfaces; if
necessary, replace the contact liquid immediately, clean the surfaces and wipe them
dry.

The manufacturer does not take any responsibility for equipment damage caused
by unsuitable cleaning chemicals.

5.2.  Cleaning and care

-  Be sure to pull the plug before cleaning the unit.
- Do

not shower the units or immerse them in water; instead, wipe them with a damp

cloth, in- and outside.

-  Rinse out the stainless steel tank frequently and wipe it dry.
-  Do not use steel wool, scrapers or graters.
-  If rings should appear in the stainless steel tank after a longer period of operation,

remove them with a customary stainless steel cleaner without scouring additives.

-  Metal parts remaining on the stainless steel surface, as well as particles of rust, can

penetrate the passive protective layer of the stainless steel, thereby "activating" it and
causing it to rust. This rust provokes pittings on the stainless steel surface. Therefore,
remove all remaining metal parts such as screws, metal chips and the like; remove
minor rust spots immediately with a soft cloth and customary stainless steel cleaners
without scouring additives.
