OPERATING DESCRIPTION
The burner operates fully automatically: it is activated by switching on
the main switch and the control panel switch.
The “lock-out” position is a safety position that the burner automatically
assumes when a burner or system component is not working properly.
Make sure that there are no faults in the heating plant before re-
activating the burner by 'resetting it'.
The burner may stay in the lock position without any time limits.
Lock-outs may also be caused by temporary faults; in these cases if it
is reset, the burner will start up without any difficulties.
If the thermostats are closed when the main switch of the electrical
panel is turned on, the voltage reaches the control device that starts
the burner.
This turns on the fan motor for pre-ventilating the combustion chamber.
The ignition transformer then comes on, and some seconds later the
diesel cut-off opens.
Combustion air may be adjusted manually using the air lock (see
chapter START-UP and SETTING).
The presence of the flame, detected by the control device, permits
continuation and completion of ignition, turning off the ignition
transformer.
if there is no flame, during operation the equipment repeats the ignition
cycle three times and then stops, if the flame is not detected.
The "safety lock-out" status is indicated by the red LED under the reset
button.
To unlock the equipment from the safety position, press its release
button (9) for 1 second.
If lockings continue to occur (3-4 times), do not continue with the
operation and, after having checked that the fuel arrives to the burner,
ask the intervention of the after-sales service in your area.
