Scheme 7. Scheme of flue pipe connection

7.7.2. Variant of connecting appliance to the exhaust flue is represented on the scheme 11.

Scheme 11. Connecting the appliance to the exhaust flue

7.8

Installation of the appliance’s power elements

Power elements of the typical size D (2 pcs. voltage 1, 5 V) are installed into the battery section 14 (see scheme 14) in accord-

ance with polarity indicated on the inner side of the cover of the section. In order to open the cover of the battery section it is neces-
sary to turn the knob on the cover to the position «ОN». It is recommended to install the alkaline power elements of the type LR20,
with higher energy output ratio and providing more durable operation of the appliance. After power elements are installed it is neces-
sary to close the section’s cover and turn the knob of the cover to the position «OFF».

7.9

Checking the appliance

7.9.1. After installing the appliance and checking it on air-tightness, you should check the main burner’s operation (p.

4.1.3

), au-

tomatic safety devices operation (p.

8.4.7

) and water heating temperature. It is necessary to perform the appliance’s switching on and

off, water temperature regulation in accordance with the section 3. Check of the thermo relay (draught sensor) operation must be ef-
fectuated in accordance with the p. 12.3.5.

Note:

  After  keeping  the  appliance  in  the area  with  sub-zero  temperature,  it  is  recommended  to  perform  its  first  launching not

earlier than in 1,5 h after is was brought to a warm premise.

7.9.2. If necessary (in case of insufficient water heating) the appliance’s inlet gas pressure should be checked, for this it is neces-

sary to:

a)

Close the appliance’s inlet gas tap;

b)

Unscrew the screw from the fitting 21 (scheme 14) and connect a differential pressure gauge to the fitting;

c)

Open the appliance’s inlet gas tap and check the connection of the differential pressure gauge on air-tightness;

d)

Switch a appliance on and install a maximal heating power mode;

e)

Define pressure with the differential pressure gauge, it must correspond to the pressure indicated in the Acceptance certifi-
cate.

correct

wrong

The end of the flue pipe is too close to the

opposite side of the exhaust flue

There is an aperture on the level of flue

pipe connection (including another device

connected to it).

Two devices have one connection to the

exhaust flue
