7.4 System commands
Different commands have been implemented in the BML
which can be reached via the parameter System
Command on Index 2, Subindex 0 . If a System Command
is sent to the BML, the command triggers the desired
action as long as it is permitted in the current application
condition.
Command Name Description
0x01 (1) ParamUploadStart Starts parameter upload.
0x02 (2) ParamUploadEnd Ends parameter upload.
0x03 (3) ParamDownloadStart Starts parameter download.
0x04 (4) ParamDownloadEnd Ends parameter download.
0x05 (5) ParamDownloadStore Finishes configuration and starts data storage.
0x41 (65) SP1 Single Value Teach Stores the currently measured position as Setpoint 1 .
0x42 (66) SP2 Single Value Teach Stores the currently measured position as Setpoint 2 .
0x4E (78) Teach Reset Deletes the SP1- and SP2 value of all SCCs.
0x80 (128) Device Reset Reinitializes all device components.
0x82 (130) Restore Factory Settings Resets all configurations to their factory defaults.
0xA5 (165) Reset Maintenance Resets all operating parameters.
0xE0 (224) Teach Preset Calculates and stores the PDV offset, sets the current output value to the
preset value.
0xE1 (225) Teach Measurement
Range Lower Limit
Teaches the current position as the lower limit value of the measuring area
(see Section 7.5.1).
0xE2 (226) Teach Measurement
Range Upper Limit
Teaches the current position as the upper limit value of the measuring area
(see Section 7.5.1).
