4.3 Assembling the sensor head
4.3.1 Insert insulators
(optional accessory, BAM TO-ML-014-01)
Insulators are included in the installation
accessories BAM TO-ML-014-01 (see
page 43).
With increased EMC requirements, the sensor head can
be assembled in a way to insulate it completely from the
machine using two insulators.

Insert the two insulators into the 4.3 mm holes on the
sensor head to the left and right.

4.3.2 Fastening the sensor head
The sensor head can be installed with or without
insulators. For the selection of screws, torques, etc., see
Tab. 4-1.
Insulators are included in the installation
accessories BAM TO-ML-014-01 (see
page 43).

1. Provide for threaded holes on the machine part,
see Tab. 4-1.
2. Optionally: insert insulators (see Section 4.3.1).
3. Taking into account the distances and tolerances
(see Section 4.3.3 on page 11 and Section 4.3.4 on
page 12) install the sensor head with its right or left
side on the machine part (see Fig. 3-1 on page 7
and Fig. 4-4 and Fig. 4-5).
4.
Secure the screws against unintended loosening
(e.g. with locking paint).
