6.2.1 Read function
Clicking on reaD starts data retrieval from the sensor
head in real time. The data types which will be read out are
the following:
– Position data
– Real-time error bits
– Signal quality, if it is supported by the current firmware
and the output settings. The signal quality is also sent
and displayed when the diagnostics function is turned
off.
The position values and signal quality (if supported) are
displayed numerically and graphically on the user interface.
The error bits are displayed with the help of LEDs. The
numeric format (radix) of the position data can be changed
to decimal, hexadecimal, octal or binary by clicking on the
area as marked in the figure.
