MAINTENANCE
1. Keep water clean.
2. Periodically clean fountain and pump to prevent mineral deposits and contamination.
3. Disconnect power and empty basin during long periods of non-use.
4. Protect from freezing. Do not use fountain in area where temperature can
drop below 41 degrees. Permanent damage may result.
WARNING
1. To reduce risk of electrical shock, plug into a GFCI outlet or circuit.
2. Prior to installation, inspect cord for damage and do not use if insulation is missing or
compromised.
3. Periodically check cord for damage and replace if necessary.
4. Do not remove grounding pin from plug.
5. Do not exceed voltage rating listed on pump.
CAUTION
1. Keep cord away from high temperature or heat source.
2. Keep fountain out of reach of children.
3. In a freezing temperatures, remove water from basin, pump and supply tube.
Store entire fountain indoors, protected from freezing.
4. Disconnect electrical source when handling pump.
5. Do not permit pump to run dry.
6. Do not lift pump by cord.
7. Do not pump heated liquids.
8. Operate using fresh water only.
9. Keep pump fully submerged to ensure proper operation and cooling.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Ensure pump’s flow control switch is set to MAXIMUM (+) before operating. Once flow
is established it can be adjusted downward if desired.
2. If pump is running, but there is no water flow check the pump’s flow control and/or see
that pump is fully submerged or if the tube is kinked or pinched.
3. If pump is running, but there is no water flow, the pump is fully submerged, flow
control is set to maximum and the hose is not kinked or pinched, unplug pump,
disconnect supply tube and lift pump out of water. Clean supply tube inside and out
as well as clean away any debris from around outside of pump.
