Chipping machine BF150
36
Once the rotor compartment has been opened, the rotor can be locked for cleaning/knife change
operations using a hopper locking pin, by inserting it into the hole provided on the chipper structure
and rotor.
Once the cover has been opened and the rotor secured by locking it, it is possible to remove the 4
screws that secure each knife to the rotor and disassemble the knives.
ATTENTION!
When the operation is complete, remove the rotor locking pin.

DRIVE BELT TENSIONING
When the machine is in use, there is a possibility that the belts may loosen, and thus not transmit the
required power correctly, which may result in slipping.
In order to pull the belts, the front crankcase must be removed, the tie rod counter nut loosened, and
the tie rod body unscrewed/screwed to pull/loosen the belts. Once the operation is complete, retighten
the counter nut to prevent the tie rod from unscrewing during use.
