Rear hydraulic brake inspection
1.
Inspect the rear disk brake caliper and brake fluid reservoir for leakage. If
brake fluid leaks, the safety of riding could be affected.
2. Inspect the brake hose for cracks, and the joint for leakage.
3. Check the brake fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir, if level is at or below
the LOWER mark, inspect brake pads for wear and hydraulic system for leaks.
4. To add brake fluid, unscrew the 4 screws on top of the bake fluid container.
Add DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid. Do not mix brake fluid types.

You can also adjust the front brake cable at the
front wheel by the brake drum.
1. Turn nut (1) clockwise to tighten the tension
on the cable and counter clockwise to
loosen the tension.
2. After any adjustment of the brake, check
again to make sure the front wheels
cannot turn when the brake is applied.

Front Brake Cable Adjustment
1. Try to move the vehicle backward and
forward when the brake is applied. If the
wheels can turn, adjust the brake to lock
the wheels securely.
2. Loosen nut (1) and turn nut (2) to adjust
the brake cable.
3. After any adjustment of the brake, check
again to make sure the front wheels cannot
turn when the brake is applied.
