CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
Ignition switch
“OFF” position - All electrical components
are OFF except hazard lights. Key can be
removed in this position.
“ON” position - With transmission in
NEUTRAL and the parking brake set,
the engine will start. Key cannot be removed in this position.
LEFT HANDLEBAR
Engine stop switch
- With the switch in the “RUN” position, the engine will
operate. With the switch in the “OFF” position, the engine will NOT operate.
This switch is mainly intended as a safety or emergency control and should
normally remain in the “RUN” position.
NOTE: If the vehicle is stopped by turning the engine stop switch “OFF”, make
sure to turn the ignition switch “OFF” to prevent battery discharge.
Start button
- Press this button to start the engine. The ignition switch must
be in the “ON” position and the engine stop switch at “RUN” position.
Headlight dimmer switch
- Turn switch to the forward position to turn on
headlight and backward to turn headlight off.
Rear brake lever
- Apply the rear brake by squeezing the rear brake lever
towards the grip.
Parking brake
- When ATV is not in use, the rear brake lever should be
pulled back and the parking lever set in place (push inward). In this position
the ATV should not move.
