ASSEMBLY AND SET UP
The Baileigh WP-450 can be floor or bench mounted. When mounting the weld positioner on a
bench, make sure it is adequately secured to avoid any possibility of tipping over with a load.
When loading the piece part onto the work table, follow these guidelines to avoid over turning
the positioner or over loading the gear train and motor.
•
Calculate the total weight of the piece part including all fixturing.
Note: The WP-450 has a load capacity of 485 lbs. (220 kg).
•
Locate the center of gravity of the piece part with all fixturing attached to the table.
•
Double check that all fixturing is securely attached to the table.
WARNING:
For your own safety, DO NOT connect the machine to the
power source until the machine is completely assembled and you read and
understand the entire instruction manual.
