MACHINE ADJUSTMENTS
Belt Tracking
Upon starting the machine, the belt may track
either left or right. The tracking can be adjusted
by turning knob (
10
) clockwise (
cw
) to move the
belt to the left, or counterclockwise (
ccw
) to move
the belt to the right.
Changing the Graphite Layer
1. Shut off the machine, making sure the driving
wheel has completely stopped.
2. Remove the working table assembly (11).
3. Rotate the belt tightening handle (9) clockwise
(cw) and pull off the belt to reveal the graphite
layer (3).
4. Remove the old graphite layer and replace with a
new one.
5. Replace the belt and rotate the handle (9)
counterclockwise (ccw) to tighten.
6. Replace the working table assembly (11).
Changing the Belt
1. Shut off the machine, making sure the driving
wheel has completely stopped.
2. Remove the working table assembly (11).
3. Rotate the belt tightening handle (9) clockwise
(cw) and pull off the belt (2)
4. Replace with a new belt and rotate the handle (9)
counterclockwise (ccw) to tighten.
5. Replace the working table assembly (11).
6. With the belt running, adjust the tracking, if
necessary, to keep the belt centered.
