Table 3
When the ISF is turned ON, the fan will start and run at SPEED 1 until changed by the user. The SPEED display will show
1 bar.
•
Pressing the SPEED + button will increase the fan speed.
•
Pressing the SPEED

AUTOMATIC MODE
NOTE:
For best performance in AUTO mode, allow adequate air flow to the sensor on the bottom of the unit (see Fig. 8-3).
Figure 8-3
The AUTO buttons (Fig. 8-1 and 8-2) on the controls and the remote perform the exact same function under the exact same
conditions.
When the AUTO button is pressed, the AUTO button is illuminated, and the ISF is operating in AUTO mode.
In AUTO mode, the integrated sensor detects the air quality and adjusts the fan speed accordingly. Thereby reducing
energy consumption when air quality is good and increasing the fan speed when dust is present.
•
Pressing either the SPEED + or
–
button will deactivate AUTO mode and return to manual mode.
NOTE:
In AUTO mode the unit may require several minutes to return to fan speed 1 once dust is
detected. The unit intentionally ramps down slowly to ensure good shop air quality.
