To program the endpoint reading on an RTR unit:
Tap in the
Current
box
Use the Delete key on the keyboard to remove the old number
Key in the new value
Make sure the IR cable is aligned to the LED on the endpoint and tap
Program
to
set the new endpoint reading value.
Change Radio Status:
Align the IR cable to the LED on the endpoint and tap on the desired status,
Start,
Stop
or
Pause.
Start: Changes the endpoint to active transmission status (On-Mobile Mode) in which the
endpoint will actively transmit its mobile message..
Stop: Endpoint is in a hard sleep mode and will not wake to transmit any metering unless
an additional IR command to start the endpoint is done.
Pause: An endpoint in pause mode will automatically wake up and begin transmitting its
mobile radio message when water usage is detected. The amount of water use required to
trigger the wake up is based on the meter size, registration, number of dials, and unit of
measure.
