LUMBER BUYING GUIDE
1.
Determine how long you would like your picnic table. Banquet or longer tables may be built with two picnic table hardware kits.
2.
Select MATERIAL PLAN for table top and benches. Generally, the 2 x 4 plan will be the least expensive. The 2 x 10 plan is easiest to build.
3.
Purchase lumber or the cut sizes shown below.
NOTE:
Pressure-treated lumber is not necessary for picnic tables. The new ACQ pressure-treated lumber is corrosive and will cause premature rusting of
conventionally plated nuts and bolts.
The threaded fasteners included with this product have been specially coated to help resist the corrosive effect of the ACQ treatment.
