established a connection with the MGS-400 App.

2.5.  Communication Features

The MGS-408 Gas Detection Controller features full two-way communications 

via an RS-485 interface. MODBUS RTU is the communication protocol standard. 

The controller can be configured as a modbus master and be the centralized 

location for all eight gas sensors or be the modbus slave and connect to a building 

management system for a complete gas detection solution.
