Probe
The probe’s sponge-type

lter (Figure 3, Item 9) needs to be in spect ed at
reg u lar intervals for dirt contamination. Replace
fi
lter as nec es sary by

rst pulling out the Peltier cooler from the probe and then ex chang ing
the
fi
lter with a new one.
Peltier Cooler
The cooler’s wadding

lter (Figure 3, Item 12) needs to be in spect ed at
regular in ter vals for dirt contamination. Re place
fi
lter as nec es sary by
fi
rst pulling off the
fi
lter chamber’s top cap and then ex chang ing the
fi
lter with a new one.
Condensate Pump
WARNING!
The condensed water will be warm and slightly
acid ic. Take all necessary precautions to pre vent the water
from splashing into your eyes or con tact ing your skin.
Empty the pump’s reservoir (Figure 3, Item 15) by
fi
rst holding the
pump with its reservoir facing downwards. Then twist the reservoir 90
de grees (either clock wise or counterclockwise) to free it from the pump
base. Empty the res er voir; then reattach it to the pump. Before re at -
tach ing the reservoir, however, make sure that the res er voir’s o-ring
(Figure 3, Item 20) is prop er ly po si tioned inside its grove in the pump
base.
