• Take a section of hair and place it between the styling plates.
•  Starting at the root, close the plates applying gentle pressure and

glide down the section in one smooth movement.

•  If you wish to create shape at the ends of the hair, slightly bend your

wrist inwards as you reach the end of each section.

•  Repeat as necessary through the remaining sections of hair.
• Allow the hair to cool fully before combing through.

Creating Curls

•  Ensure the cool tips are in position at the end of the appliance. (See

Fig. 1).

•  Plug in the appliance and press the button marked

 ‘ ’

to switch on.

•  To select a temperature setting suitable for your hair type, press

the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons. The indicator light will blink until the heat
setting selected has been reached. Once the temperature has been
reached, the indicator will remain solid in colour.

•  Separate a section of hair. The smaller the section the more defined

the curl. The larger the section the looser the curl.

•  Take the hair section and place between the plates, roughly 3 inches

from the roots. (See Fig. 2).

•  Holding the appliance handle in one hand and the cool tips in the

other turn the appliance 180° back on itself so that the hair is wrapped
once around the outside of the appliance. (See Fig. 3).
