Wearing the Harness and Carrier (Step 1)
Ensure that the chest strap is disconnected, and the side straps are loosened, prior to wearing
the harness and carrier.
With the child secured in the carrier and harness, and the harness front facing toward you, lift
the harness on to either shoulder by gripping and lifting the left or right shoulder straps with
your left or corresponding hand (your arm should cross your body when positioned correctly).
Wearing the Harness and Carrier (Step 2)
Supporting the child and baby-carrier component with your free hand, gently lift and slide the
harness on to the left or right shoulder.
The remaining harness shoulder strap can then be gently placed on the torso as if putting on
a jacket or waistcoat – taking care that the harness and carrier remain in a vertical position.
It may help to lean forward slightly during this step, in order to minimise and risk of the harness
and carrier slipping.
Adjusting the Harness
Connect the harness using the waist buckle connec-
tion and chest strap connection.
The harness can now be adjusted at the side strap and
chest strap points, and should be adjusted to create a
snug fit.
1. To remove the baby/child from the carrier unit during solo back-carrying, carry out the above in-
structions in reverse.
2. The baby/child can be placed in or removed from the carrier unit by a second adult by following the
steps shown for Front Carrying. Ensuring that the child is safely supported during the insertion and/
or removal process.
