BEFORE USING

Solid surface countertops can be easily scratched, cracked, scorched, or damaged, especially

when exposed to heat.  To prevent damage, the following precautions should be observed

when using this product:

•

Always use a trivet under heat generating sources such as Slow Cookers, Toaster Ovens,

Skillets, Deep Fryers, Treat Makers, etc.

Carefully unpack the funnel cake maker and all parts.  Remove all packaging materials,

including any stickers or labels.

Clean the interior and exterior surfaces of the funnel cake

maker with a damp cloth or sponge.  Wipe dry with a soft cloth.

NEVER IMMERSE THE

FUNNEL CAKE MAKER OR CORD IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

  Position the

funnel cake maker on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface.  It is recommended to operate this

appliance on a separate outlet and circuit from other appliances to avoid overloading the

circuit.

Attach the pwer cord to the unit by aligning the magnetic plug end of the cord assembly with

the two electrical pins located in the recessed area of the base.  When properly aligned, the

plug will magnetically attach itself to the appliance. For proper connection, the magnetic plug

end must be parallel with the countertop.

Important: The magnetic cord was designed to detach easily from the funnel cake maker.  As

a result, if it is bumped or touched during use it could possibly detach causing the unit to stop

heating. Avoid contact with cord during operation.  If contact occurs, verify that the cord is still

properly connected.

HOW TO MAKE FUNNEL CAKES

1.  Position the funnel cake maker on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface.

2.  Attach the magnetic plug to the appliance and plug the power cord into a 120V outlet,

preferably on a separate outlet from other appliances to prevent the circuit from being

overloaded.

3.  Fill the funnel cake maker with

4 cups of vegetable oil.  DO NOT FILL PAST THE MAX

FILL LINE.

4.  Turn temperature to the desired setting.  Suggested temperature is 375

NOTE: Power Indicator Light will be illuminated indicating the power is on.

5.  Allow the oil to heat for approximately

10

minutes.  Prepare your funnel cake batter while

the funnel cake maker is heating.

6.

Using the provided batter bottle, fill with approximately 1 cup of prepared batter.  Starting

in the center, squeeze the batter into the oil in a circular motion, moving outward to create

a 6 or 7 inch round funnel cake.

7.  Fry in the oil for approximately 1-3 minutes on each side or until batter is completely

browned on both sides.

8.  Using the drip-through spoon and tongs, remove the funnel cake and place on paper

towels to drain excess oil.

TIP: Sprinkle powdered sugar or desired toppings while hot.

9.  Repeat steps 5-8 for remaining batter.

10.  Allow funnel cakes to cool and serve.

11.

When finished cooking, remove plug from wall outlet and allow the appliance to cool

before moving, cleaning or storing.

CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE OIL WHILE HOT.

ALLOW FUNNEL CAKE MAKER TO COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE MOVING OR
