Parents are responsible for their children. Please follow these guidelines in order to guarantee your child’s safety. Your child’s
safety could be affected if you do not follow these safety notes. You should explain the operation of this cot and its acces-
sories in detail to each person who uses them.

•  WARNING:

Any existing polybags and other elements which are part of the product packaging should be taken off and

disposed of before use or at any rate should be kept away from children – danger of suffocation!

•  The lowest setting for the slatted frame is the safest for your child. It is the only one that should be used as soon as

your child can sit up independently.

•  Do not leave any objects in the cot which could be swallowed or could make it possible for the child to climb over the

side bars.

•  Please ensure the age-appropriate height of the sides of the cot to make sure that your child cannot fall out of bed. As

soon as your child is able to climb out of bed it is necessary to convert the cot into a junior bed in order to avoid falls.

•  The thickness of the mattress has to be chosen in such a way that the distance between the surface of the mattress

and the upper edge of the bed frame is at least 50 cm when the slatted frame (bed base) is in its lowest position and
at least 20 cm when the slatted frame is in its highest position.

•  The mattress size should be 70 x 140 cm, but it must not be thicker than 10 cm.
•  Only use a proper mattress, not a water or air bed.
•  One side of the cot has 2 or 3 removable bars. For your child’s safety, this side must only be assembled in such a way

that the removable bars can only be removed by pulling them upwards (i.e. with the springs at the top). This side must
not be assembled the other way round as this can lead to accidents. After the bars have been removed, they must be
kept out of reach of children!

•  If you leave your child in the cot unsupervised, makes sure that the movable side elements (removable bars) are in the

closed position.

•  Ensure that the connecting elements are positioned firmly. Screws can loosen and pieces of clothing or cords, dummy

ribbons, necklaces etc. can get trapped in the gaps. This leads then to a danger of strangulation.

•  Check that all screws and metal fittings are positioned firmly approx. 3 weeks after assembling the bed, and

subsequently at regular intervals.

•  WARNING:

Do not leave any objects in the cot that could constitute a danger of suffocation or strangulation for your

child.

•  In order to avoid fire hazard, never position the cot near fans, electric or gas fires or other sources of heat.
•  Keep these instructions in a safe place during the whole lifespan of the cot. If you hand the cot on to third parties,

please enclose this instruction leaflet.

•  For the cleaning and care of your cot, please note the care instructions in this instructions leaflet.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE!

•  Protect your furniture generally from water (e.g. when wiping or watering flowers). The damp can penetrate

the furniture and damage it.

•  Please check the proper working of the cot at regular intervals.
•  Ensure that the frame is stable and that the screws are tightened properly.
•  Broken or worn-out expendable parts should be exchanged without delay.
•  Do the same with other parts which are broken, torn, defective or worn-out.
•  Please use only original replacement parts.
•  For the cleaning of the cot use only mild soapy water or lukewarm water to clean the frame of the cot.
•  If the cot is exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time, the wood can fade.
