user. The selected operating mode will be shown through the LEDs (B).
The red LED lights up when the wheelchair is being controlled by the
user. The green LED lights up when the wheelchair can be controlled
by the attendant.
Adjustment function button
All VR2 attendant control units are fitted with an adjustment function
button (C) as standard. If the VR2 control unit is not programmed with
any adjustment options, this button has no function.
However if the VR2 control unit is programmed with 1 or 2 adjustment
options, the functions for this button are described in the relevant sec-
tion below.
Wheelchairs with one adjustment option
Pressing the adjustment function button (C) once will activate the elec-
tronic adjustment options.
This is indicated by both LEDs above the adjustment function button
lighting up (D). By deflecting the joystick forwards or backwards, you
can control the adjustment direction for this channel.
To return to drive mode, either press the adjustment function button
(C) or the speed level button (E).
Wheelchairs with two adjustment options
By pressing the adjustment function button (C) the electronic adjust-
ment options are activated. By pressing the button once, the left LED
lights up, and then by deflecting the joystick forwards or backwards
you can control the adjustment direction for this channel.
Select between the two adjustment options by deflecting the joystick
to the left or right. If the other adjustment option is selected, the
relevant LED will light up. LEFT for adjustment option 1 and RIGHT
for adjustment option 2.
To return to drive mode, press the adjustment function button (C)
again or press one of the two speed level buttons. (Fig. 33).
