UART 2 Mode
Your system may offer a variety of infrared modes on the second serial port.
The options are Standard, HPSIR or ASKIR.
IR Function Duplex
This item allows you to select the IR half/full duplex function.
TX,RX inverting enable
This item allow you to enable the TX, RX inverting which depends on different
H/W requirement. This field is not recommended to change its default setting
for avoiding any error in your system
.
Onboard Parallel Port
This item allows you to determine onboard parallel port controller I/O address
setting
.
Onboard Parallel Mode
Select an operating mode for the onboard parallel (printer) port. Select
Nor-
mal, Compatible,
or
SPP
unless you are certain your hardware and software
both support one of the other available modes.
ECP Mode Use DMA
This item allows you to select a DMA channel for the parallel port for use dur-
ing ECP mode.
Parallel Port EPP Type
This field allows you to select EPP port type between 1.7 or 1.9.
Onboard Legacy Audio
If the Onboard legacy audio controller is going to be used then this field needs
to be enabled. If an add-on audio device is going to be used then this field
must be disabled. If no such device is going to be used then the default
“
enabled
” setting should be retained.
Sound Blaster
If a Sound Blaster is going to be used then this field needs to be enabled. If
you are not using a Sound Blaster then retain the default “
disabled
” setting.
