2.8.

 

ANTI-JAM AND ANTI-SPAN SYSTEMS  

Jam.

  The  hopper  has  a  current  draw  detector  that,  when  there  is  a  coin  jam, 

reverses  the  spin  direction  of  the  disk  motor  for  1.5  seconds  to  free  the  jammed 

coins. 

Span

. The name given to the time between the extraction of two coins. When the 

hopper detects a time  span of more than 5 seconds the hopper  reverses the spin 

direction  of  the  disk  motor  for  1.5  seconds  to  move  the  pile  up  of  coins  in  the 

hopper and get them into a position to be extracted.
