Prior to installation work, follow the items of caution as described below:

CAUTION

•   Check and confirm that there is no external damage to the valve (body, 

actuator, accessories).

•   heck and confirm that there is no damage on pipe connecting flanges or 

butt welding connections,

•   Ensure that temperature of welded part of pipe has been reduced before 

proceeding,

•  Make sure that the flanges on pipe have been chamfered.
•   Remove dust, sand, welding spatter or any other foreign matter from pipe 

and clean out pipe. Any foreign matter will damage the valve seat and 
reduces shutoff characteristics.

•   Ensure that upstream and downstream pipe supports are sufficiently 

strong. Otherwise, the valve's weight may cause leakage from flange 
connections.

WARNING

•   Operation of valve over and beyond the rated pressure or connection 

other than recommended of specified connection may cause damage or 
leakage which may result in serious injury.
