7. CARTRIDGE FILTER MAIN-
TENANCE
WARNING!
Always disconnect the plug
from the wall outlet before removing the
tank cover.
NOTICE!
This filter is made of high
quality paper designed to stop small
particles of dust. The filter should be used
for dry pick-up. A dry filter is necessary to
pick up dust as when the filter is wet, the
filter will clog quickly and be very difficult
to clean.
Handle the filter carefully when removing
it for cleaning or when installing it. Check
the filter for tears or small holes as even a
small hole can let dust pass through and
out of the cleaner. Do not use a filter with
holes or tears, replace it immediately.
Installing &Cleaning
7.1. Slide the cartridge filter down over
filter basket and push fully home.

7.2. Place

7.3. Hold onto base of lid cage with one
hand and turn retainer clock wise
tighten.
7.4. When removing the filter for cleaning
hold the cartridge filter to take off
carefully avoid damage it. (fig.3)
7.5. Slide cartridge

7.6. Clean a dry filter by tapping it inside
a waste can.(fig.4)
7.7. Clean a wet filter by rinsing from the
inside. (fig.4)
7.8. When wet the cartridge filter should
be removed and allowed to air dry
for 24 hours before being refitted
onto the filter basket.
8. TROUBLESHOOTING
Cleaner
will not
operate.

Check power
supply – cord,
breakers, fuses.
2.
Unplug and check
the
power cord. If
damaged,
have it repaired by a
professional.

Empty container.
Dust
comes
from the
motor
cover.

cartridge
filter missing
or damaged.

Attach or replace
dust bag or cartridge
filter.
Reduced
efficiency
and
increased
motor
speed/vib
ration.
There is a
blockage in
the nozzle or
hose,
Or the
container
inlet. Or dust
filter blocked
by fine dust.
Check nozzle, hose
and
container inlets for
blockage. Take off the
filter
and clean it. Or install
new
cartridge filter.
