7.COOKING UTENSILS
Use the supplied magnet to check if a cooking
utensil is suitable. The utensil can be used on
induction cookers

it

IMPORTANT:
Very small cooking utensils cannot be used, even if they are made of a suitable
material.
The power indicator will flash if the utensil is too small. Use a larger utensil.

Cooking utensils made of glass, ceramic, stoneware, aluminium, copper or non-
magnetic
stainless steel
are generally not suitable. Cooking utensils make of
enamelled stainless steel
with a special bottom for
use on induction cookers can
be used. Check that they are marked as
suitable for induction cookers.
The induction generates a large amount of heat very quickly in the bottom of the
cooking utensil. Never
heat empty cooking utensils.
Different types of cooking
utensils can be used, but utensils with thick bottoms
are best.
They
heat
up
more efficiently and distribute the heat better.
Lift up cooking utensils when moving them so that they will not scratch the glass.
Never leave kitchen utensils on the appliance when it is switched on. They can
activate the
zones and be
heated up.
This applies especially to larger kitchen utensils.
