System firmware

Upgrade system firmware

The body worn system detects new system firmware versions when they are released. A notification appears in AXIS Body Worn
Manager.

Note

Automatic system firmware detection requires Cloud extensions and that the system has access to

*.bodyworn.axis.cloud

To install the latest system firmware:

1. Go to

If you don’t have Cloud extensions, or if you want to specify another firmware version, instead of the latest:

1. Go to

Choose file

to select a system firmware file on your computer.

3. Click

Upload and install

.

A system firmware upgrade takes effect immediately. All system controllers in the system are upgraded. When the upgrade is done,
the system restarts. Cameras that are in use are upgraded on docking.

Firmware version report

The firmware version report shows the firmware version for all cameras and system controllers, in the body worn system, at a given
date and time. This provides the traceability and a historical overview of the system and enables system administrators to keep
track of status of a device throughout its lifetime.
