HARDWARE DESCRIPTION 

 

3.1 Microprocessors 

The 

SBC81700 Series

 supports VIA V4 C7/Eden processors, which 

make your system operated under Windows

®

 XP and Linux 

environments. The system performance depends on the 
microprocessor. Make sure your installed microprocessor with all 
correct settings that prevent the CPU from damages.  

3.2 BIOS 

The 

SBC81700 Series

 uses Phoenix-Award Plug and Play BIOS with 

a single 4Mbit Flash. 

3.3 System 

Memory 

The 

SBC81700 Series

 industrial CPU card supports two 240-pin 

DDR2 DIMM sockets for a maximum memory of 2GB DDR2 SDRAMs. 
The memory module can come in sizes of 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, 
512 MB, 1 GB and 2 GB.
