iAMT SETTINGS
Utilizing built-in platform capabilities and popular third-party management and security
applications, the Intel
® Active Management Technology (Intel ® iAMT) has significantly lowered
a major barrier to IT management efficiency, helping IT professionals discover, repair and better
protect their networked computing assets.
In order to utilize Intel
® iAMT you must enter the ME BIOS (<Ctrl + P> during system startup),
change the ME BIOS password, and then select “Intel ® iAMT” as the manageability feature.
B.1 Entering MEBx
1.
You must go to BIOS to enable iAMT function.
2.
Exit from BIOS after starting iAMT, and press <Ctrl + P> to enter MEBx Setting.
NOTE
Press <Ctrl + P> before the screen pops out.
B.2 Set and Change Password
1.
You will be asked to set a password when first logging in. The default password is “admin”.
