3.3.1 Serial Port Configuration

Serial Port 1 Configuration (COM1)

Serial port 

This option is used to enable or disable serial port COM1/COM2. 
 

Device Setting 

This item specifies the base I/O port address and Interrupt Request (IRQ) address of a serial 
port. 
Optimal setting for Port 1 is [3F8h/IRQ4]. 
Optimal setting for Port 2 is [2F8h/IRQ5]. 

 

COM 1 Port Type 

Serial Port 1 Configuration

 is used to select COM Port Type: [RS-232]

 or 

[RS-422]

 or 

[RS-485]. 

COM1 RI Setting

 is used to select COM Port Type: [RI]

 or 

[5V]

 or
