axing SZU 85-02 Mounting Instructions Download Page 4

Product description

The flexible multifeed rail SZU 85-02 and SZU 85-06 enable the Axing satellite antennas SAA 80-0x, SAA 85-0x and SAA 110-0x to receive signals from an
additional satellite. Various satellite combinations can be implemented within the following setting ranges:
Using SZU 85-02 = 10 degrees
Using SZU 85-06 = 24 degrees
For optimized reception, please observe the information in this installation manual:

In this installation manual, we can only include a selection of the possible satellite combinations.

All position information of the LNBs on the multifeed rail are based on a location in central Germany. Please note that minor deviations are possible
depending on the location of your system.

For mounting the first LNB, the feed holder from the satellite antenna scope of delivery is used. For the second LNB, a second SZU 85-01 feed holder is
required. This is not included in the scope of delivery.

Mounting for reception of
ASTRA 19,2° and Hotbird 13°

Bolt the multifeed rail to the antenna‘s support arm.

Clamp an LNB in each feed holder.

Lightly tighten the threaded bolts of the feed holders.

Slide the feed holders onto the multifeed rail in the positions shown above.

First fix the feed holder for the ‚ASTRA 19.2°‘ position on the rail (tighten
threaded bolt).

Connect your measuring instrument to the ‚ASTRA 19.2°‘ LNB and align the
entire antenna for optimized reception of ‚ASTRA 19.2°‘.

Tighten all installation screws of the antenna.

Now connect your measuring instrument to the ‚Hotbird 13°‘ LNB.

If required, optimize the ‚Hotbird 13°‘ reception by slightly moving the
‚Hotbird 13°‘ feed holder on the multifeed rail.

Fix the LNB in the best position (tighten threaded bolt).

Mounting for reception of
ASTRA 19.2° and ASTRA 3A 23.5°

Attention: For mechanical reasons, this combination can only be
achieved with LNBs for a satellite distance of 3° (feedhorn LNBs).

Bolt the multifeed rail to the antenna‘s support arm.
