Introduction
You have chosen a Axalto point of sales terminal.
In order to use your terminal efficiently and in the best conditions, it is
recommended to read carefully this manual.
Important note: Axalto is not responsible for damage due to installation or
use that are not in accordance with the instructions given in this manual.
Presentation of the MagIC 6100 terminal

Your MagIC 6100 is a stand alone point of sales terminal able to read both
Magnetic Stripe Cards and Smart Cards.
■
The terminal houses a printer, a keyboard, a display, a modem, a magnetic
card reader and smart card readers. The connections to serial ports,
telephone line and power supply are situated at the back of the unit.
■
MagIC 6100 terminal can be equipped with a separated PIN Pad used to
enter PIN code.
