Installation/Appliance operation
Connection to water supply
(PH14A)
Fig. 1
Have the appliance connected
to the water supply by a plumber (see
technical data for connection values on
page 21).
Check that the valve in the water supply
is open.
Check mains voltage
Fig. 2
Check that the rating plate dis-
plays the correct mains voltage.
Note:
Do not connect the appliance if
this voltage does not coincide with the
voltage in your country.
Lock wheels
Fig. 3
Lock the wheels when the appli-
ance is at the correct location.
Fill with water (PH14)
Fig. 4–7
If the reference value indicator
blinks and the “water low“ lamp lights,
the water tanks are empty.
Before you wheel the water carriage
away, place a cloth on the floor to catch
any water which might be spilled.
Then lift up the handle and wheel the
carriage away or lay it on the floor and
remove the canisters one after the other.
Fill the water tanks with tap water.
Note:
Water additives can adversely
affect the purification efficiency of the
activated carbon evaporator mat.
Use only additives that are guaranteed
not to cause any injuries to health and
that are marked GRAS (Generally Rec-
ognized As Safe).
