GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This winch is designed only for certain applications. It is highly recommended that this winch will
not be modified and/or used in any other application other than what it was designed for. If you
have any questions relating to a specific use, DO NOT USE THE WINCH before you have
contacted your dealer and resolved if the winch is suitable for your application and it works in that
application as intended.
WARNING: Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed
below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save the instructions near the
machine for further reference.
WARNING: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual
cannot cover all possible conditions or situations that could occur. It must be understood by
the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this
product, but must be supplied by the operator.
GENERAL WARNINGS
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Store unused equipment.
Tools must be stored in a dry location when not in use to prevent from
rusting. Lock the tool storage and keep it out the reach of children.
Do not force the tool.
It will do the job better and more safely at the rate for which it was intended.
Do not use inappropriate attachments in an attempt to exceed the capacity of the tool.
Avoid accidental starting.
Stay alert.
Focus on what you are doing and use common sense. Never operate the equipment when
tired.
Wear appropriate work clothing.
Do not wear loose fitting clothing or jewelry as they can be
caught in moving parts. Non-skid footwear is recommended. Wear restrictive hair covering to
contain long hair.
Check the equipment daily for damaged parts.
If any part appears to be defective, check it
carefully to determine if the tool is working properly and appropriately. Check the compatibility of
moving parts, broken parts, installation connections or other matters that could affect the correct
operation of the tool.
Only a qualified technician should replace or repair damaged parts. Do not use
the tool if any switch does not work properly.
Do not abuse the power cord.
Protect the power cord from damage, either from impacts, pulling or
corrosive materials.
Replacement parts and accessories.
Use only original spare parts when servicing the equipment.
Using other parts will void the warranty. Use only spare parts intended for this equipment.
Do not operate the tool while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
If you use prescription
medication, read the warnings to determine if they lower alertness or reflexes. If in doubt, do not
use the tool.
Maintenance.
Only a qualified technician should perform service or maintenance work on the
equipment for safety reasons.

Failure to follow these
safety instructions can lead to serious accident or even in death.
Always keep hands clear
of wire rope, hook loop, hook and fairlead opening during installation,
operation, and when spooling in or out.
Always use extreme caution
when handling hook and wire rope during spooling operations.
Always wear heavy leather gloves
when handling a wire rope, and never let wire rope slip through
