CONNECTIONS

For the AVX912R (receiver)*:

Step 1: Plug in AVX912R

Step 2: Connect the network cable of the NVR to the “ETHERNET” port of AVX912R. If “Link”

LED is blinking red, please go on with the following steps, but if it is red on, please go
check the connection between the NVR and AVX912R.

Step 3: Connect the existing coaxial cable to the “COAXIAL” port of AVX912R. At this moment,

“Link” LED is blinking red.

For the AVX912T (transmitter)*:

Step 4: Plug in AVX912T

Step 5: Connect the network cable of the IP cameras to the “ETHERNET” port of AVX912T. If

“Link” LED is blinking red, please go on with the following steps, but if it is red on, please
make sure the connection between the

IP cameras and AVX912T.

Step 6: Connect the existing coaxial cables to the “COAXIAL” port of AVX912T. If “Link” LED is

blue on, the connection is completed successfully. However, if it is still blinking red, a
coaxial connection error occurs, so please go check the coaxial connection.

Note:

*AVX912R is to connect to a NVR, while AVX912T is to connect to IP cameras; if not connecting to the
corresponding devices, it will affect the transmission rates.

**It is feasible to change the connection sequence of AVX912R and AVX912T. If a user chooses to connect
AVX912T first (in our example, we connect AVX912R first), please follow the steps above to complete the
connection as well.

***AVX912 supports up to 22Mbps transmission rate for using multiple IP cameras at a time; it is recommended to
connect AVX912 to three Megapixel cameras at most for the best viewing. If transmission speed exceeds the limit, it
may affect the video smoothness.

****When using 5C2V coaxial cable, maximum transmission distance is up to 400m; it’s not allowed to use a signal
booster to extend the distance. Besides, the distance of connection and transmission speed might be affected by
the cable quality and installation environment.
