How to Unlock your IONIQ 5
Your IONIQ 5 is equipped with a Smart Proximity Key that detects your
key when approaching the car. The car can be unlocked by simply
pressing button on the door handle or by pressing the unlock button
on your remote.

How to start your IONIQ 5
To start the IONIQ 5 you need to press the button on the dashboard to
the left of the steering wheel. You must depress the brake pedal whilst
doing this just like a normal vehicle.

How to drive the IONIQ 5
Unlike standard vehicles the IONIQ 5 doesn’t have a gear lever or buttons in the
center console to select which gear you are in. Instead there is a stork on the
right-hand side of the steering wheel which is used to select your desired gear.
Twist the end of the stork either up or down to change gear. The gear selected
will be illuminated on the stork itself and on the driver display screen. To put the
car in park you need to press the button on the end of the stork.
N = Neutral.
This is used when you do not require any movement.
R = Reverse.
Use this when reversing the car.
P = Park.
When you want to leave the vehicle parked
D = Drive.
The most useful gear, this allows you to move forward.
