Configuration
The AntiVir Server Configuration is displayed under the node Settings. Under Settings
you configure the service Avira AntiVir server on the server to be protected. You have
the following options:

Scanner
: Configuration of on-demand scan
•
Guard
: Configuration of on-access scan
•
General
: Extended threat categories, password protection for the server on AntiVir
Server Console, alerts if AntiVir Server needs to be updated, used directories,
limitation of reports and event logs
•
Update
: Download method (via web server or file server), product updates,
configuration of the connection to the download server
•
Alerts
: Configuration of network alerts for Guard and Scanner
•
: Configuration of email alerts via SMTP. The transmission of emails is
supported by the modules Guard, Scanner, Avira AntiVir Server Updater
