MOUNTING AND DISMOUNTING OF AVIONAUT EVOLVAIR CHILD
SEAT IN VEHICLE USING
3-‐POINT SEAT BELT, GROUP I

2.1 Mounting
A. Place Avionaut Evolvair child seat on vehicle seat toward travelling direction (
fig. 1
).
B. Set child seat backrest in maximum vertical position and vehicle seat backrest in parallel
with Avionaut Evolvair child seat backrest. Slide vehicle headrest so as not to interfere in
mounting process (
fig. 2
).
C. Open up both seat belt locks at the top of Avionaut Evolvair vehicle seat backrest
(
fig. 3
).
D. Make sure seat belt tensioners are in bottom position (
fig. 4
).
E. Pull up vehicle seat belt at maximum.

), (to make mounting easier, you can temporarily close
lock from retractor side -‐ seat belt will not retract).
F. Guide hip part in the front, sliding seat belt under child seat base and on seat belt
tensioners. Make sure that seat belt is not twisted and is flat on base surface and
tensioners. Plug seat belt buckle in fastener (
fig. 6
).
G. Unlock seat belt guide and stretch vehicle seat belt by tightening it by hand, so that child
seat is not loose on both sides. Close seat belt guide lock, so that they are flat on top
surface (
fig. 7
).
H. Turn seat belts tensioners up on both sides of child seat until they are locked
(you will hear "click") (
fig. 8
).
I. Check whether child seat is securely mounted, is not loose and seat belt is not twisted.
