Evolvair child seat mounted by vehicle seat belts is restraint device, included in "universal"
category. It was approved in accordance with
the Regulation no. 44, series of amendments
04, for groups I, II, III 9-‐36 kg for general use in vehicles and is suitable for installation in
most seat places (but not on all) in vehicle. Mounting with vehicle seat belt is only possible
if approved vehicles are equipped with 3-‐point seat belts with retractor, which were
approved in accordance with UN/ECE Regulation no. 16 or other equivalent standards.
• Group I: Child seat mounting with 3-‐point safety belts and child fastened with 5-‐point
harness.
• Group II, III: Child seat mounting and child fastened directly with 3-‐point vehicle safety
seat belts.
