b. Thread the adapter onto the mounting conduit.
c. Apply silicone sealant to the base of the adapter to prevent moisture from entering the
camera.

If using another adapter
a. Attach the adapter to the mounting conduit.
NOTE:
If using a different adapter than the one provided by Avigilon, ensure that the
camera housing is sealed from moisture.
2. Preparing the Ethernet Connector:
a. Pull the Ethernet cable through the mounting conduit.
NOTE:
Extend the cable 50 mm or 2" past the NPT adapter.
