ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

INTEGRATION WITH AVIDYNE IFDs

The AMX240 is designed for tight integration with the Avidyne
Integrated Flight Displays (IFDs). When connected to an IFD, the
AMX240 enables Com frequency decoding and frequency
monitoring of the two transmit and four receive channels of the
IFD com radio. This means that the active Com frequency and
agency name are displayed on the IFD so you always know with
whom you will be talking when you transmit.
