WARNING!
Electric shock. The electrical equipment in this system must be
connected to a ground fault interrupting circuit. Failure to do so can cause elec-
trical shock resulting in severe personal injury or property damage.
WARNING!
Electrocution. Never stand in water when handling electrical equip-
ment. Water is a conductor of electricity. Standing in water while operating this
equipment can cause electrical shock or electrocution resulting in severe per-
sonal injury.
WARNING!
Add acid to water. Do not add water to acid. When refilling the acid
solution tank(s), make sure there is at least 1 gallons [37.8 liters] of water in the
tank before adding the acid. Adding a small amount of water to the concen-
trated acid will cause hot temperatures and possibly spattering of the caustic
liquid.
WARNING!
Toxic gas. Do not add acid to the chlorine solution tank. Mixing of
chlorine and acid will produce a toxic chlorine gas that can result in death or
personal injury.
WARNING!
Severe personal injury. Bleach causes severe eye and skin irrita-
tion or burns. Bleach is a strong oxidizer. Contacting bleach with other material
may cause fire. Bleach is harmful if swallowed. Keep bleach from contacting
clothing and other combustible materials. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and
clothing. Keep bleach in tightly closed container. Wash thoroughly after han-
dling.
Precautionary Statements:
Bleach contact with skin may cause ulcers, local
discoloration, or eczema. Contact with skin or eyes may cause severe irritation
or burns. Ingestion may cause severe burning to mouth and stomach and may
be fatal.
First Aid Procedures:
If bleach is swallowed, do not induce vomiting. If con-
scious, give two glasses of water or milk. In case of contact with skin or eyes,
immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing
contaminated clothing and shoes. In all cases, contact a physician. Consult
Material Safety Data Sheet for further health and safety information.
