Recovery and Software Installation

The Recovery process destroys all data and settings. Use this procedure only if other
problem-solving efforts have failed.
To perform a system recovery:
1. Insert the first Recovery CD and turn on the PC.
2. The PC boots up in the Symantec Ghost program. Choose “Re-image and Walk Disk”
from the menu. Note that there is no warning step in this procedure, so be sure that a full
re-image is what you want to do.

The main Ghost window displays and the program runs automatically.
3. After 5 to 10 minutes, the Ghost program prompts for the second recovery CD. Insert
this CD and Click OK.
