Introduction to ConnectPlus 1000
ConnectPlus 1000 Network Storage is a gateway providing access to archive storage and to
content distribution with a set of MediaStream Servers (or nodes) in a Avid MediaStream
NSS. ConnectPlus 1000 provides high-speed connectivity with up to 300 Mbps performance
over industry-standard Gigabit Ethernet. Network data transfer uses Avid MediaStream’s
implementation of standard FTP (File Transfer Protocol) allowing you to use off-the-shelf
FTP clients. FTP allows easy integration of the gateway with Automation and Archive
systems.
