Manually captures a snapshot from live video and downloads the image to your computers

8. Start/Stop Recording
Manually start and stop recording live video. The video will be saved to your local PC when
recording is stopped.
9. On-Screen Display
Click inside the box and drag to reposition the OSD.
10. Detection Area
Defined area in which, people will be counted for crossing the associated detection line. The
detection area can be resized by clicking on the endpoints and dragging to a new position.
Click anywhere inside of the detection area and drag to move the entire area.
Note:
The Count Area must be a convex polygon with a maximum of 10 sides.
Drawing the Count Area where people may linger can impact counting accuracy.
11. Detection Line
Defined line, placed in a defined area, in which people will be counted as they enter and
leave.
Note:
The detection line must remain within the detection area.
The yellow arrow indicates the direction recognized as entering.
The detection line length must be at least 10% of the width of the image.
