GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read the instruction manual carefully and follow the following safety precautions. Keep the manual for
future reference and available to every user of the device.
In case you give the device to another person, it must be accompanied by the instruction manual.
No proper use of the device might cause harm or malfunction.
Do not use tools or accessories for a job not designed/recommended by the manufacturer.
This appliance is for household use only.
Ensure that the voltage indicated on the device matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance. If not,
do not use the device.
Disconnect the device from the mains supply:

shortly after use
o
when not using the device
o
before undertaking any cleaning task
If any malfunction occurs, disconnect the supply cord from the mains immediately.
Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
If the device does get wet, immediately remove the power cord from the wall outlet and do not put your
hands in the water. Never run the wet appliance.
Do not use or place the appliance and its parts or top or near any source of heat (hot gas or electric burner or
heated oven) or where it may get wet.
Do not operate or place the device or parts in places of high humidity or where it may get wet.
WARNING:
Do not submerge the appliance/cable/plug in water or any other liquid, to avoid electric shock.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Never leave the device unattended (whether in use or not) in a place easily accessible by children.
During operation, do not leave the device unattended.
Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak. Disconnect the
cord from the supply immediately.
If the cord/plug becomes damaged, the appliance malfunctions or becomes damaged, do not use the appliance.
Never leave the power cable hanging from sharp table edges/benches or touching hot surfaces.
Never leave the power cable tangled during operation. Untangle it immediately.
If the appliance or accessories become damaged please refer to a qualified technician.
