Starting Up
Connecting the telephone to the telephone line cable
Connect a plug at the end of the telephone line cable to socket 2. Then press the
cable in the guide.
Insert the plug at the other end of the telephone line cable in the wall socket /
connection socket (UAE).
Setting the display language
When the receiver is on

hook, press and hold the
button for approx. 4 seconds.
appears in the display.
Press
to select the required language and confirm by pressing
. The
hour display then flashes.
Setting/Changing the time and date
Wait until the hour indicator flashes in the display.
Press
as often as necessary until the current hour appears.
Confirm by pressing
. The minute indicator flashes.
Press
as often as necessary until the current minute appears.
Confirm by pressing
. The day indicator flashes.
Press
as often as necessary until the current day appears.
Confirm by pressing
. The month indicator flashes.
Press
as often as necessary until the current month appears.
Confirm by pressing
. Input is then completed and the current data appears in
the display.
Setting the recall (flash) time
Set the sliding switch
at the side of the telephone to the “100 ms” (short
recall) setting.
