The following figure shows the call flow between a branch OC client and a main office Avaya
UNIStim phone. In this case, the OCS server policies are configured to route calls between
the branch OC client and the main office IP Deskphone through the Mediation Server at the
main office. As the larger G.711/RTP payload remains within the head office, this is also a
recommended scenario.
