Press and hold the battery test switch on the front of the unit when the battery is not charging. The battery level
indicator lights will illuminate to indicate the amount of charge remaining in the Jump Starter.
•
When the battery is fully charged the green High indicator will light up.
•
When the battery is at 50% or lower, only the yellow Low indicator will light up.
•
When the battery must be recharged only the red indicator will light up. You must recharge the Jump
Starter before using it.

If your vehicle’s battery is too weak to start your car you can use the Jump Starter to start it.
•
Make sure all the accessories in your vehicle are turned off (lights, radio, AC, heater, etc.).
•
Make sure there are no 12V accessories attached to the Jump Starter and that the work light is turned
off.
•
Securely connect the RED positive (+) booster clamp to the corresponding positive (+) terminal of your
vehicle’s battery.
•
Securely connect the BLACK negative (-) booster clamp to a grounding point, such as the metal of the
vehicle frame, as far away from the battery as possible. DO NOT connect the clamp to the negative (

Turn the battery safety switch to the ON position. Start your vehicle.
•
Once the vehicle has started, turn the battery safety switch to the OFF position, disconnect the black
booster clamp first and then disconnect the red booster clamp from the battery.
•
NOTE: if your vehicle does not start within 10 seconds, allow the Jump Starter internal battery to cool for
3 minutes before attempting to start the vehicle again.
